Let me be clear. I've never liked this Donald hobbit looking fool. Ever. And I usually don't pay a lot of attention to political nonsense. But last night I couldn't bring myself to hunt down the remote in order to change the channel, so I found myself watching Donald Trump do a press conference prior to a narcissistic public rant. This took place in Dubuque, Iowa. I used to live in Dubuque, Iowa, so I happen to know there's only about a 2% Hispanic population there. Otherwise, there's no way The Donald could've gotten out of the building after essentially bullying the head anchor of Univision, Jorge Ramos out of the room.
Ramos, who accused Trump on CNN last night of "spreading hate" with his controversial remarks o to n immigration, was immediately removed by security from the early press conference.
"Excuse me, sit down. You weren't called," Trump said. "Sit down. Sit down. Sit down!"
"No you don't. Go back to Univision," Trump said when Ramos protested that he had "the right to ask a question."
Later in the evening, Trump stood in front of about 3,000 people and talked about how much he loved the bible and hated Megyn Kelly. Oh and he declared this to be "The Summer of Trump". Yeah. He did. Then he said he really loved Hispanics but their leaders were smarter than ours. (Whaat??) Also, he loves Evangelicals and Presbyterians. But when Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. And they're responsible for the drugs and violence. And he will build a great wall to keep out the Mexicans and make the Mexicans pay for it. For that is what Bossy Pants Hairy Man demands.
Have we all forgotten who the First Lady would be if this chuckle-head weasels his way into the oval office? Perspective, people. Perspective.
